Mary R. Rudolph, 89, of New Kent, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 15, 2017. Mary was predeceased by her husband, William F. Rudolph; parents, Ralph S. and Honora Forte; and brother, Edwin J. Forte. She is survived by a daughter, Jane Walsh (Michael) of New Kent; a son, James G. Rudolph (Lori) of Staten Island, NY; four grandchildren, Michael J. Walsh (Michele), Megan Argenbright (Troy), Noreen Ingram (Rovez) and MaryMargaret Walsh; five great-grandchildren, Oliver, Nolan and Everly Walsh, Gwen Argenbright and Otis Ingram. Mary R. Rudolph, 89, of New Kent, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 15, 2017. Mary was predeceased by her husband, William F. Rudolph; parents, Ralph S. and Honora Forte; and brother, Edwin J. Forte. She is survived by a daughter, Jane Walsh (Michael) of New Kent; a son, James G. Rudolph (Lori) of Staten Island, NY; four grandchildren, Michael J. Walsh (Michele), Megan Argenbright (Troy), Noreen Ingram (Rovez) and MaryMargaret Walsh; five great-grandchildren, Oliver, Nolan and Everly Walsh, Gwen Argenbright and Otis Ingram. Mary was a member of the Cursillo Community, Young at Hearts and a Red Hatter. She enjoyed music, movies, word search puzzles and spending time with friends, especially over a meal. Her motto was Life is Short Eat Dessert First (especially if tiramisu was on the menu). A visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Highland Springs, 811 W. Nine Mile Road, Henrico, VA 23075 on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at the church on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Frank Wiggins, celebrant. Interment will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
