On Saturday, August 26, 2017, at age 95, Frannie's request to go home to be with her Heavenly Father was granted. She was the eldest daughter of Clifford and Maude Davis; and was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Wagner and Lewis Tinnell; sister, Eleanor Childress; and a special niece, Maggie Cavell. She leaves behind her sister, Hilda Cavell; and several nieces and nephews. Having no children of her own, she devoted most of her life to real estate and tax preparations, of which she received numerous honors in these fields. What was most important to her was her church, family and friends. Some of the enjoyment in her life was spending time with her girlfriends on numerous trips and cruises, playing a mean hand of Skip-Bo and developing a gift of gab through her love for people. Special thanks to Bon Secours Community Hospice House caregivers and her longtime and loyal friends, Alice and Don Ellis, Kathy and Otis Harris and Betty Walker. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, in Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 1637 Williamsburg Rd., Richmond, Va. 23231. Online condolences may be made at www.nelsenrichmond.com.
